Better still — don’t mug people. 24-year-old Anthony Miranda, a convicted felon, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and aggravated discharge of a firearm after a botched attempt to mug an unidentified victim who turned out to be an MMA champ. According to police, Miranda approached the victim’s parked car on Chicago’s Southwest Side last Friday and demanded money while brandishing a handgun. Initially successful, Miranda pressed his luck and ordered the man to step out of the vehicle. It was then that the tables were turned and Miranda soon found himself being pummelled by the victim. During the scuffle, Miranda’s gun discharged and he was shot in the ankle.
